The World Series Champion Mark Teixeira has a message for the democrats annoyed by the new map of the Texas Congress.
Governor Greg Abbott, a Texas Republican, signed a new map that probably ensures five additional districts of the United States Representatives Chamber before the mid -period elections of 2026. Teixeira, who launched his campaign for the United States representatives camera on Thursday, said that the Democrats who are annoying need to “have better policies.”
“Have better policies. I know that progressive policies do not work in the United States. “What would tell the Democrats in Texas, throughout the country, is when you have policies that really want to help Americans, come to talk to us. But Republicans are out there, conservatives are there with a United States agenda, and we will help Americans, helping Texans every day.”
The former New York Yankees slugger is campaigning for the 21st Texas Congress District. Teixeira’s announcement followed the decision of the representative Chip Roy not to seek re -election while running for Texas Attorney General.
The three-time All-Star called his “quite simple” policy approach.

“It is sure of the border, the low taxes, reduce the government while cultivating the economy, protect life and second amendment. Those conservative principles, helping Americans, helping US families, helping the United States to prosper, they will bring on the road and what Texas families deserve,” Teixeira said.
“Texas District 21 is full of great people, patriots who love God, love their country, love the state of Texas, and I can’t wait to go out and meet them all and make sure they understand what I think.”
The 45 -year -old played for four teams in his career in the Major Leagues. Teixeira debuted with the Texas Rangers and spent five seasons with the team before being changed to the Atlanta Braves.
