Mookie Betts could not play in the first two games of the regular season of Los Angeles Dodgers in Tokyo last week due to a disease, and it is possible that it cannot be confused this week.
The Dodgers swept the two games abroad against the Chicago puppies, although Betts lost both games and even Freddie Freeman lost action.
It was revealed that Betts was dealing with some kind of stomach insect, and has not been able to keep the food solid for almost two weeks, which forced him to lose 25 pounds.

Betts was sent back to Los Angeles from Japan to undergo tests and said: “Everything has become clean.”
“I mean, I feel great. As, my body feels great. I have been able to exercise. I have been able to do almost everything except, which is strange,” Betts said. “Then the symptoms have gone. I just have to discover how to make my stomach calm down.”
“My vital ones, everything has become clean. Do the blood tests, everything has become very, very clean and healthy,” he added. “I guess it’s something with my really aggravated stomach, so now I started a new medicine to try to calm my stomach.”
The Dodgers and the Angels gathered for two exhibition games before the opening day, but Betts was a trace on Sunday and will not play on Monday.

Now, World Series champions could also lose Betts in the American ground.
“It’s hard to understand not to eat and go to play,” Betts said. “So it seems that I will be light for a moment. Maybe I play uphill a little for the beginning of the season. But no, I just want to play, man. I’m tired of sitting, tired of vomiting, tired of doing all this. I really just want to play.”
The eight times All-Star cut .289/.372/.491 in 116 games last year, the youngest in a season since it became a full-time player, excluding the 2020 shortened campaign.

However, every time Betts returns, he will slide to the top of an order that includes Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, Max Muncy and Teoscar Hernández.
He receives it to the Tigers of Detroit on Thursday.
