The Star of the Tigers of Detroit, Taik Skubal, showed the world of baseball on Sunday why he is one of the best pitchers in the game with a dominant performance against the Minnesota Twins.
Skubal was seven tickets, struck out 13 batters and allowed only one hit, since Detroit won the game, 1-0. The current winner of the American League Cy Young also made a franchise history.

He became the first tiger pitcher to hit 13 batters in a single game without allowing more than one blow, according to MLB.com. It is the tenth consecutive time that a winning decision has made.

Skubal lowered his time to 2.15 with victory. Lead the largest with 138 strikeouts. Boston’s red socks, Garrett Crochet, is a close second with 135. Skubal is in a privileged position to win the second prize to the Cy Young of his career.

Riley Greene and Kerry Carpenter had solo homers for the tigers. Carpenter added another RBI to his statistics line.
Detroit has 53-22 in the season, since Minnesota fell to 40-44.
