The plane of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi used Pakistan’s airspace while heading to France, Express News reported to cite the sources of aviation.
Modi, traveling on a special plane, flew from New Delhi to Paris. The plane entered Pakistan’s airspace near Lahore and continued its trip to an altitude of 34,000 feet, through several regions, including Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Chakwal and Kohat.
Aviation sources declared that Modi’s plane traveled through Pakistan’s airspace for approximately 41 minutes, but there was no good will for the Pakistani government or its people.
Aviation officials clarified that, given that Afghan airspace is currently closed, Indian Prime Minister Modi received a special permit for this flight route.
Pakistan closed his airspace completely on February 26, 2019, after Indian Fighter Jets violated his international limit and airspace. In March of the same year, Pakistan partially reopened his airspace, but remained restricted for Indian flights.
Despite this, Pakistan denied the request of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in 2019 to use his airspace for a flight to Germany, in the midst of growing tensions on the Kashmir’s dispute.
However, two years later, Pakistan granted permission for Modi’s non -scales flight to pass through his airspace on the road to the United States.
