Dubai: Indian rapid bowling player Mohammad Shami has said that his approach during the 2025 Champions Trophy was in the Cricket, and would compensate for the fascos lost for the month of Ramadan later.

Speaking to journalists at Dubai Cricket Stadium, Shami shared that playing during Ramadan could be a challenge, but representing his country was a priority.

He explained that the Indian professional crickets followed an established schedule designed for them, which they must meet.

Shami recognized the difficulty of playing matches during Ramadan, but said that players were advised to keep the adequate food intake, rest and follow the recovery guidelines after training to work at their best.

In the semifinal, Shami played a key role in taking three crucial Australian Wickts, helping India to reach the final.

The side led by Rohit Sharma, who has remained undefeated in the mega ongoing tournament, will face New Zealand with both teams that look at the prestigious title.

The two parts had been found face to face during the group stage where India assured the courtesy advantage of Varun Chakravarthy’s 5-42.

India enters the final in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium as favorites and with her trust.

They have won the four games in the eight -nations tournament, including the expiration of New Zealand for 44 races in the group phase, although both teams had already reached the semifinals by then.

Rohit’s team has played all his games in Dubai after refusing to visit Champions Trophy, hosts of Pakistan due to political tensions among rival countries.

In front of them is a New Zealand team in the hope of winning the tournament for the second time, after having done so in 2000 in what was the second edition of a competition compared to a mini World Cup.

India could be favorite and will have much of the crowd in the Dubai stadium of 25,000 capacity to roar, but recent history is actually with New Zealand.

Black Caps also have a clear advantage over India with nine wins, six losses and one without results in the global white ball tournaments.
