The long -lasting diurnal program “First Take” will soon lose a familiar face. On Tuesday, the moderator and coanfrerion of a long time Molly Qerim announced that he would leave the program and the network at the end of this year.

Qerim first joined ESPN in 2006. He replaced former “First Take” champion presenter in 2015 and was appointed the permanent host of the program about two years later.

The Sports Business Journal, citing Fuentes, informed that Qerim was offered a new contract to keep the Disney -owned sports network. However, according to reports, he rejected the offer.

In a statement, an ESPN spokesman praised Qerim for his contributions to the organization for almost two decades.
