As for what’s included in the beta, players will be able to access all content from the first playtest. That includes character creation, a main story segment, and a quest to kill the new monster Doshaguma. A new hunt has also been added to take down the returning Gypceros monster.
Tsujimoto also confirms that character creation data from the first open beta will carry over to the second for both your hunter and his Palico companion. This can also be carried over to the full game when it releases on February 28. Second beta participants will also receive a nice Palico weapon charm for the full game.
Finally, Tsujimoto states that the development of the final version of Wild monster hunter has been completed. However, it makes it clear that changes and improvements based on feedback from the first beta will not be included in the second. “This includes several tweaks and improvements,” he said, “but I hope you understand that this means those improvements will not be ready to make it to the second beta test.”
