- Potential April 24, 2025 Date for the new DJI flagship drone
- Features to include digital filters and 52 -minute battery life
- The price can start from $ 2,250
We have been waiting for official news about the DJI Mavic 4 Pro for a while, but, if a new leak is true, we will not have to contain our breathing for much longer. The filtration also revealed some exciting news about the Premium Drone functions list, not to mention prices.
The news comes from the Jasper Ellens series filter, who directs the Dronexl site and is generally very precise when it comes to DJI revelations. In a story published on the site, he claims to have received the information from two separate sources, which have never been wrong in the past, but, as always, we suggest that these rumors with a pinch of salt, as with any other filtration prior to liberation in the technological team.
Ellens states that the DJI Mavic 4 Pro will be launched on Thursday, April 24, 2025, just over four weeks, and that DJI will cause the announcement through an official video on April 17.
Today two birds told me the official date of #launch, confirmed 7 key #Features and in addition to that they even told me the #official #Djimavic4Pro. Let’s immerse ourselves in them! Greetings Jasperhttps: //t.co/A8CCT81J9YMarch 19, 2025
Are these the main characteristics of Mavic 4 Pro?
Ellens’s sources also spilled beans in the Mavic 4 Pro characteristics list. They affirm that drone, as its predecessor the Mavic 3 Pro, will come with three cameras, with focal lengths equivalent to 28 mm, 70 mm and 168 mm. However, the sensor size will be larger than in the Mavic 3 Pro, offering video recording of a resolution of up to 6K.
The cardan of the camera has completely redesigned, which allows a much greater range of movement, while the ND filters will be digital and integrated into the camera instead of the physical accessories sold as optional extras. These are two characteristics that seem to be very popular among filmmakers, since creative options improve.
The battery life will be 52 minutes, as previously rumored, while the fast charge of 240W will allow a user to completely recharge three batteries in just 90 minutes. Finally, DJI will launch a completely new remote control along with the drone. Called RC Pro 2, this controller will come with a larger 7 -inch touch screen that can be tilted.
Revealed prices, but where is Lidar?
In terms of prices, it seems that there will be three separate packages to buy. The Ellens sources claim that the DJI Mavic 4 Pro (with an RC 2) will cost $ 2,250, while a DJI Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo (which will probably have two additional batteries, a load center, an RC 2 controller and a transport bag) will cost $ 3,200. Finally, he says that there will be a DJI Mavic 4 Pro 512GB Creator, which will apparently include all of the above, but will exchange RC 2 for the RC Pro 2 controller, and will cost $ 4,400.
All of the above sounds completely plausible to us, although we believe it is interesting that the Lidar Midar Module is not mentioned, and if Ellens is correct, we will undoubtedly begin to see a drip feed of additional leaks (and possible official Mockery of DJI) in the period prior to that date of April 24. Therefore, we will probably have more rumors about DJI’s next flagship drone to share with you very soon.
