There is a Big Apple event scheduled for next Tuesday, September 9, and we hope that four iPhone 17 models are revealed. With only days to the end, the leaks continue, including new images of iPhone 17 Pro max
These images have been published by the well -known Tipster @univesex, and are described as “engineering models.” It is not exactly clear what that means, but we can assume that these phones show the final design for the most expensive iPhone 17 model of Apple.
Another fact of this publication is that there could not be a black version of the iPhone 17 pro max (which presumably also applies to the iPhone 17 Pro). Titanium colors available for The iPhone 16 pro max is black, white, natural and desert.
The colors shown here are a bright orange and a dark blue, which are previously rumored. Presumably, some more subtle colors will also be offered, even if black is not black: Apple can replace it with a dark gray or something similar.

Here is another possibility that the phrase “this time there is no black version, only this dark blue” refers to this particular leak, instead of the maximum colors of the iPhone 17 pro max in general. Based on previous leaks, that actually seems more plausible.
In fact, we have previously seen fictitious units that show the iPhone 17 Pro in black. All these filtered images also show the redesign of the rear panel, with a larger chamber blow that has been rumored for a long time.
We will leave you for you how you want to interpret this, but taking into account that iPhones are almost always available in black, including the standard iPhone 16 and the 16E iPhone that was launched in February, it would be a surprise if it was not offered.
