More than 60 Pilgrims from Umrah Pakistani remain stranded in a Saudi airport for the second consecutive day after, according to reports, their scheduled flight was missing due to the poor management of the airline, said Express News.

The pilgrims, who were ready to return home through a Saudi airline, claim that they were left behind in the airport hall without help or clear communication of the airline staff.

“No one has helped us despite waiting hours in the living room. We have been trapped here for two days,” said one of the pilgrims affected to local media.

According to travelers, a representative of the Pakistani embassy in Saudi Arabia has contacted them and collected their details, but no concrete measures have been taken to facilitate their return.

The sources suggested that the group stayed at the airport due to procedure complications with flight management, although no official explanation has been provided.

The efforts to repatriate the pilgrims stranded so far have failed to materialize, which generated concerns about the lack of coordination between the airline and the diplomatic authorities.

Until Monday night, pilgrims continued waiting at the airport without a confirmed return flight, urging both the airline and the Pakistani embassy to accelerate their arrangements. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have not yet issued official statements about the situation.
