More than 106 students from Sindh and Balochistan will receive 120 awards for outstanding achievements in Cambridge IGCSE, O Level and International AS & A Level examinations. Among them, 26 students secured the highest marks in the world, while 53 secured the best marks in Sindh and Balochistan in individual subjects.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are part of a global program celebrating students from more than 40 countries. Cambridge said its qualifications are designed to prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel at university and beyond, and are recognized by leading universities around the world.
Uzma Yousuf, National Director of International Education at Cambridge Pakistan, said: “Every year, we are inspired by the dedication, resilience and talent of our students across Pakistan. These outstanding results are a reflection not only of their hard work, but also the unwavering support of their teachers, schools and families.
He further said that as the world continues to evolve, driven by innovation, technology and new ways of learning, these students are proof that strong educational foundations build the confidence and adaptability needed for the future. “We are immensely proud of their achievements and the role our schools play in developing globally minded and future-ready students,” he added.
The awards also honored students who earned high-achieving awards in less common subjects and those with the highest cumulative grades in multiple subjects. Cambridge noted that these students outperformed thousands of candidates around the world who sat the same exams.
