Sindh:
More than 80 royal turkeys have died and hundreds have become ill in several rural areas of Tharparkar, according to reports, due to a mysterious disease composed of intense heat and lack of food and water.
According to residents of the affected regions, including Islamkot, Nagarparkar and Chachro Tehsils, the paeacocks exhibit symptoms such as flu, fever, inflammation of the throat and, in some cases, loss of vision. Local accounts suggest that birds cannot recover once the symptoms are established.
