- Motorola has revealed the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, with a unique texture similar to the canvas in a model
- A Motorola spokesman told Techradar about a bit of “world” visualization technology on the new phone
- The Edge 60 Fusion is now available and costs £ 299.99 in the United Kingdom: a launch is not expected in the United States
Motorola has announced a new cheap phone with a unique canvas finish, and what calls the “first screen of the Quad-Curve world.”
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with a 6.67 -inch quadruple screen that continues the company’s association with Pantone by offering a pantone validated color profile.
At an initial price of £ 299.99, the Edge 60 Fusion assumes the role of Motorola’s new cheap slab phone: we hope that the Edge 60 Pro will soon join, whose recently rumored details we cover.
We still do not have a price for Australia, and the phone will not launch at all in the United States.
In addition to the supposed “first in the world” in its exhibition technology (more about that later), it is likely that the Edge 60 Fusion put the head with its design and construction.
Motorola has also collaborated with Pantone in the telephone design, with three elegant colors to choose from: Pantone Zephyr, Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Amazonite, that is rose, blue and blue green in the daily buzz.
As for construction, the phone comes in a pleasant vegan leather in Zephyr and Slipstream colors, while the Amazonite model has a synthetic material that emulates the feeling of canvas. If you ever wanted your phone to feel like a handbag, Motorola has you covered you.
This unique material does not transmit loss of resistance to the elements: the phone has a classification of up to IP69, the highest possible rating for dust and water resistance.
Let’s talk about hardware: EDGE 60 Fusion has the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 medium range and 8 GB of RAM, which should offer a respectable level of hardware energy for the low price of the phone.
The phone also comes with up to 256 GB of storage, offering a lot of space for photographs and videos taken with its double camera system.
Together with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, the EDGE 60 Fusion is equipped with an ultra -wide lens with macro built -in skills, with a minimum focal distance of 3 cm.
A handful of software shooting modes, some assisted by the Moto Ai owner tool kit, allow more flexibility, such as adaptive action and stabilization.
That same Moto AI suite also appears in another place: the phone comes with characteristics that are quickly becoming standard for smartphones, such as transcription, notes and generation of images.
First of the world?
While I write this, I have the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion by hand, and although I am impressed by its quality of exhibition and construction of light, I cannot see what makes it a “world first.”
A Motorola spokesman told Techradar: “In a world first, we are excited to launch Motorola Edge 60 Fusion with the edge of the quadruple curve for our technology expert fans. Not only the device has been designed with validated colors of Pantone, the unique curved screen transitions of all those who have a screen without screen problems to the back.
“What distinguishes the competitors device is the concept of ‘endless edge’ where the curve is more intense and pronounced, wrapping the edges to create a waterfall effect for a more immersive device experience.”
Okay, the screen is wrapped in the four directions, but the highlights on the long sides of the phone. I have also used other phones that curve on all sides, such as the Oppo Find X8 Pro, and although the long edges of the Motorola Edge 60 fusion are definitely more pronounced, I am not sure of the same thing is applied to the upper and lower part of the screen.
In any case, the Edge 60 Fusion seems a good value good enough to not have to trust some “First World” claims: I can see it corresponds to a place on our list of the best cheap phones in the United Kingdom. Make us know what Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in the comments below.
