DPM/FM Ishaq Dar chaired the first meeting of the Economic Management Reforms Committee on Thursday.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of focusing on sectors that can act as triggers for greater and inclusive economic growth.
The meeting deliberated on the way forward for implementation of the government’s holistic economic plans in various sectors including energy, social sector and governance. The role of the Planning Commission and other ministries was discussed in detail.
The Minister of Planning and other officials attended the meeting personally.
