ISLAMABAD:
Members of parliament from all parties raised the alarm on Saturday about the growing influence of social media, urging laws similar to those in other nations and agreeing on the need for swift and responsible measures to ensure social media is used for the good of society and the future of the country.
While speaking exclusively to a local media news channel, the MPs highlighted the need for social media laws to protect young people, drawing inspiration from successful international legislation.
