Karachi:

The members of the Sindh Assembly that belong to the MQM-P have strongly criticized the proposal by the KMC to increase municipal positions, calling it an additional burden for the citizens of Karachi and the obstinacy by KMC usurper representatives.

The members of the right of the Provincial Assembly said that Karachi pays more than 95% of the total provincial and more than 70% of federal taxes for money earned so much effort, and imposing additional tax burdens on them will make a life difficult.

KMC has not been able to provide basic municipal facilities to its citizens. Under the mayor of the PPP, the city has been reduced to a state of poor condition.

The income generated by KMC does not reach people directly, but are being consumed by the “system.”

Given these terrible circumstances, they demanded an audit of KMC from third parties instead of increasing municipal taxes. This would allow Karachi to know where their money is being spent.
