The Muttahida Qaumi-Pakistan movement (MQM-P) Pakistan has pledged to release a white book against the Sindh government, while calling the 16-year government of the Popular Party of Pakistan in the province the worst and most corrupt.

At a press conference, MQM-P senior leaders, including Farooq Sattar and Nasreen Jalil, accused the provincial government of poor management and corruption, claiming that they had brought another lament for Karachi.

The White Paper will include details of the state of government under the PPP, pointing out that 25 billion rupees in installments are still not sent for government employees residing in Karachi and working in local government agencies.

Farooq Sattar commented that these employees had their monthly tip contributions deducted from more than 30 to 40 years of service, but those installments have not been paid to retirees since 2017. He questioned: “What could be a bigger economic crime than this?”

In addition, he explained that all these institutions based in Karachi, led by the mayor of Karachi or the provincial minister of the local government, have been under the control of the feudal lords of Sindh since 2017, when MQM-P was eliminated from supervising them.

Farooq Sattar declared that RS 25 billion fees for Karachi retired employees remain without paying since 2017, with similar problems that affect Hyderabad. He stressed that after amendment 18, the government of Sindh is responsible for paying these installments.

MQM leaders revealed that Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) must between 15 and 10,000 RS RS employees of RS 6 billion to 5,000 employees. Similarly, the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) owes more than 1,000 retired employees to RS. Other bodies, such as WASA, HMC and HDA in Hyderabad, must other RS 4-5 billion.

Another part of the White Paper on the mismanagement of the Government of Sindh will be launched after Ramzan. Farooq Sattar accused Sindh’s government to deprive the 25 Karachi cities of their rights, and retired employees were unfairly treated.

He also accused the provincial government of hiring people with fake certificates for new recruitments, especially in Karachi and Hyderabad, and in medical schools. MQM leaders declared that the Sindh government is perpetrating an economic and educational massacre against the people of Karachi.

Farooq Sattar raised questions about where the 25 billion rupees had gone, emphasizing that these funds were the money of Karachi’s taxpayers, not anyone’s personal wealth. He demanded investigation into missing funds.

He also noted that the wages and benefits of the provincial ministers, including the main minister, are paid for Karachi’s taxes. Farooq Sattar demanded that the government investigate where tax money is assigned.

In his press conference, Farooq Sattar urged political figures in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to pay attention to the difficult situation of Karachi, emphasizing that this situation was harmful to Pakistan’s stability and strength.

He assured the retired employees that they were not alone, and added that MQM Pakistan had returned with renewed force and unity. He warned that after Ramzan, the growing costs of essential goods would be highlighted. “This is a warning for those who underestimated our strength during our organizational restructuring,” he said.

On the issue of collaboration with the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi-Haqiqi (MQM-H), AFAQ Ahmed, Farooq Sattar movement expressed his hope that the old agreements would be relieved, although he acknowledged that AFAQ Ahmed had rejected his appeal by unity in the past.

Previously, Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) announced plans to launch a white paper that evaluates the performance of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) in Punjab during its first year in office.

Going to a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Wednesday, opposition leader in Punjab, Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachahar, strongly criticized the provincial government, claiming that public funds were being misused for self -promotion.

Without directly appointing Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, he accused the administration of diverting state resources to promote it and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
