Mufti Taqi Usmani, an outstanding Islamic scholar and head of Wifaq-Ul-Madaris, has asked the Muslim world to impose a complete boycott of Israel, condemning the global community.
He stressed that protests against Israel must be peaceful, while warning that any damage to individuals or property is strictly prohibited by the law of Sharia.
The call was made during the National Palestine Conference held in Islamabad on Thursday, where numerous Islamic academics from several schools of thought met to address the crisis in progress in Gaza and Palestine, said Express News.
While condemning the failure of the Muslim countries to act against Israel, MUFTI USMANI questioned the purpose of Muslim armies and their weapons if they are not accustomed to defending the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza. “If the armies of the Muslim countries do not participate in the jihad over Gaza, what are the purpose of?” said.
The well -known Clreric said that it is essential to keep Gaza alive and completely boycott the products of Israel and his followers, while emphasizing the need to boycott companies that help Israel.
However, he emphasized that protests against Israel should not give rise to anyone’s life or property, since causing harm to others through the stone ball or violence are prohibited in the Sharia and Israel’s boycott and the products of their followers must be carried out peacefully.
The call to non -violence occurred after a mafia attacked a branch of a fast food chain in Mirpurkhas on Tuesday night, damaging the building and the part of it on fire.
Mufti Usmani reaffirmed the Pakistan’s position, emphasizing that the country has no relations with Israel and that it will not recognize the state of Israel.
He reminded the audience that the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, had declared Israel an illegitimate state before the creation of Pakistan, and this position remains unchanged.
Mufti Usmani also criticized the United Nations for enabling Israeli violence and pointed out the failure of the global community to hold Israel while asking for a clear and unified statement of jihad against the Israeli occupation, emphasizing that Muslim leaders cannot shy away their duty.
The speakers at the conference highlighted the serious situation in Gaza, with reports that indicate that more than 60,000 Palestinians have been martyred, including women and children.
The clergy blamed the United States for encouraging Israeli aggression and criticized the inaction of international human rights organizations, since they also pointed out the growing humanitarian crisis, with the local populations displaced and reports of Israeli attacks against professionals and medical journalists.
“Israel is a terrorist state,” said Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. “The leadership of the Muslim world is inactive and silence is deafening.”
It was emphasized that the time for the mere condemnation had ended and requested a military intervention in Gaza. “We must send our forces, because jihad is now a religious obligation,” he said.
Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, spoke of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians, urging Islamic nations to stop condemning Israel’s actions and take measures to help Gaza’s people.
He praised the resistance of Hamas’ fighters in Gaza and requested a military response of the 57 Islamic nations, questioning his true commitment to the Palestinian cause.
The conference concluded with a unanimous statement that requested a variety of actions, including the immediate cessation of diplomatic relations with countries that recognize Israel and the establishment of a non -contact policy until a high unconditional fire is achieved.
The clergymen urged the United Nations to celebrate an emergency session and asked Pakistan to lead the position in this matter.
The conference also declared tomorrow the “Oppressed Palestinian Day”, urging Muslims around the world to show solidarity with the Palestinians, who have endured decades of occupation and violence.
Resolution of the National Palestine Conference
The conference published a detailed statement, which describes Israel’s actions as an open genocide and accused the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice of Inaction.
The statement asked Jihad as an obligation for all Muslims, citing the Islamic principle of “Al-Aqrab fi al-Aqrab” (the closest must be helped first) in the face of Palestine’s suffering.
The statement also denounced the comments of US President Donald Trump about the relocation of the Palestinians, stating that Palestine, including Jerusalem, is a legitimate and historical right of the Palestinian people.
“The Muslim world must join to support Palestine,” the statement concluded. “The occupation of Israel is illegal, and the region, including all Palestine, belongs to the Palestinians.”
