- RADEON AI PRO R9700 high -end cards of five main brands now confirmed
- The products are designed for professional, representation, simulation and use of multiple GPU
- More MSI, XFX, Biostar, Acer and others are expected soon
The Radeon Ai Pro r9700, AMD’s fastest GPU to date, has gone on sale, with Asus, Asrock, Sapphire, PowerColor and Gigabyte that reveal its versions.
It is shown for the first time in Computex 2025, the PRO R9700 is based on RDNA 4 architecture and is fed by Navi 48 chip.
It has 32 GB of GDDR6 memory, which is twice the amount found in RADEON RX 9070 XT focused on the player who uses the same nucleus, along with 128 AI accelerators and 4096 flow processors.
Built for professionals
The GPU is designed for professional workloads, including the training of AI, scientific modeling and advanced representation.
The Asus version, the Turbo Radeon AI PRO R9700, has a 12 V-22×6 power connector, metallic cover with casting and thermal interface material of phase change. This configuration helps manage energy and thermal load for continuous use.
The card design focuses on reliability, which is crucial for business systems that need to operate any load for long periods.
The Gigabyte model also has an industrial design, a cooling with AlmoPper, compound metal thermal paste and a blow -style turbo fan.
The cooling design of this card promotes air flow in dense compilations of work station, where several cards are installed next to each other.
Sapphire taking is quite close to AMD’s reference, offering the same performance and design with four discipport 2.1a outputs.
PowerColor also adheres to the fan design and has confirmed the 300W TDP of the card, the 2350MHz game clock and the increase clock of up to 2920MHz.
The Asrock version, the Creator R9700, offers a cooling of the metal chamber and the steam chamber for durability and thermal control, while using the same 12 V – 2×6 connector as Asus, the company of which it was originally split.
Although the price varies slightly by the supplier, most cards should cost around $ 1,200.
The AI PRO R9700 admits multi -GPU configurations, thanks to its duallotos blower design and PCIE 5.0 connectivity, which helps provide communication between faster commissions.
Other manufacturers, including MSI, XFX, Biostar, Acer and Yeston should appear soon.
