An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad has declared the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar and Farrukh Habib as fugitives in cases related to the attack of the judicial complex due to its repeated absence of numerous judicial audiences.

ATC Tahir Abbas Sipra judge presided over the hearing against PTI leaders.

The court also issued arrest orders for Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Raja Basharat and several other absent in the case.

After the assistance of the accused available, the court postponed more hearings in both cases until April 7.

PTI leaders face two cases registered at the Ramna Police Station related to the incident.

The case arose from an incident that occurred during the appearance of the president of PTI, Imran Khan, in the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, where he sought the bond in multiple cases.

A large number of PTI supporters gathered on the site, eliminated the security barriers, damaged the entrance door of the complex and interrupted the judicial procedures.

After the event, the Islamabad Police registered a case of terrorism against those involved, invoking section 7 of the Anti -Terror Law (ATA), together with section 353 of the Pakistan Criminal Code (PPC), which refers to obstructing a public servant in the discharge of duties.

The authorities affirmed that the attack had been premeditated, with some political figures allegedly inciting the mafia.

Several people were arrested, and the police recovered a Kalashnikov and other weapons of the detainees. Estza were made in different provinces to detain additional suspects.

The authorities declared that the property of the Government had been destroyed during the attack, but accredited the police forces to successfully avoid that the situation intensifies even more in the Superior Court of Islamabad.
