Murree:
The District Administration of Murree has established a dedicated livestock market to facilitate citizens before Eidul Azha.
The market was recently opened on the ground located under Jheka Gali in Hill Dholu Road, one of the most picturesque places in the city of Murree, where the municipal corporation has organized the facilities.
The Municipal Corporation has urged sellers and buyers of cattle from the local community to cooperate with the administration and take its animals to the designated market.
When issuing official instructions, the attached commissioner of Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, emphasized that the cattle market has been established in a specific place to guarantee cleaning during EID festivities.
In addition, he warned that livestock markets would not be allowed on other roads or areas, and that strict action would be taken against anyone who violates these regulations.
On the other hand, the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) has completed the cleaning agreements, including the removal of waste before EID under the vision of Punjab Prime Minister, Maryam Nawaz, and “Sethra Punjab program”.
Following the directives of the CEO of RWMC, Rana Sajid Safdar, a large cleaning operation is being carried out in all the Tehsils of the Rawalpindi division. This operation includes specialized efforts for waste settlement and sanitation in city streets, roads, markets, residential areas and livestock markets, which is executed all day.
With the approach of Eidul Azha, the waste lifting, manual sweeping, the pinch of Lima and immediate cleaning are carried out daily in all Rawalpindi cattle markets, including Murree, under a coordinated strategy.
The operation manager in Murree, Talha Mir, is supervising the health workers actively deployed in the field. The CEO of RWMC, Safdar, is closely monitoring the “Clean Punjab” program in the division and reviewing the daily field reports.
