A recently converted Muslim girl, Saima, together with her husband Saddam and the workers of the political and religious parties organized a protest sitting at the main door of the SSP Tharparkar office. Saima claimed that he had turned Islam a few weeks ago, but was taken from his house in Mithi, kidnapped and taken to Karachi, where he tried to convert it strongly to Hinduism.

She claimed that the vice president of the Mithi Municipal Committee, Summitra Devi, Ashok Kumar Meghwar, her father and two cousins ​​were involved in the incident. She states that she escaped, returned to her husband and went to Mithi Police station to register a case against the kidnappers, however, Sho Mithi police station went, after which she first sat at the door of the Mithi Police station and then in the SSP Tharparkar office. Saima demanded protection and that a case was registered against the people involved.

Sho Qadir Bakhsh Behrani informed the protesters that SSP Tharparkar, Adil Memon, has directed an investigation into the case under the supervision of DSP Mithi, Majid Qaimkhani, after which a case will be recorded against the people involved. The sho assured Saima that he would be protected, and the protest ended.
