Every year, the biggest mobile tech companies come together to show off their products at MWC Barcelona, and the 2026 event has been as packed as all the other MWC shows before it, as this guide to the best devices will help show you.
The TechRadar team is still hard at work navigating the event’s various meeting and conference rooms, and here are the highlights from our second day in Spain. You can also catch up on our top MWC device picks from day one.
1. TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro
If you haven’t been inspired by smartphone designs and innovations in recent years, take a look at the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro – this phone uses TCL’s latest generation of color e-paper display, providing a gorgeous, glare-free visual experience.
Comics display very well, but all kinds of apps and experiences shine on the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro, and the screen doesn’t feel sluggish at all. You can even use a stylus with the phone and it is also available at a competitive price.
2. Xiaomi Watch 5
The Apple Watch and Pixel Watch have some serious competition in the form of the Xiaomi Watch 5, which packs plenty of power into a pretty stylish case and strap combo, topped by a 1.54-inch, 1,500-nit circular AMOLED display.
Now available globally, the Xiaomi Watch 5 made a big impression on us when we tested it at MWC because it runs Wear OS 6 instead of Xiaomi’s own HyperOS, meaning you have access to Gemini smart AI on your wrist.
3. MemoMind One
We might have another candidate for our list of the best smart glasses: the MemoMind One from XGIMI. There are built-in speakers here, as well as dual-eye displays and, of course, a dash of AI, making these a complete pair of smart specs.
The MemoMind One glasses also score highly for customization options, with a variety of frame styles and temple designs to choose from, although we’re not exactly sure how many. However, we are still waiting for details on pricing and availability.
4. Biwin CL100 Mini SSD
The name tells you almost everything you need to know about this device: it is an SSD made by Biwin and it is very small and thin. In fact, it measures only 15mm x 17mm x 1.4mm, so it’s not the size of a postage stamp, it’s smaller. We are talking about the size of a microSD card.
Despite such compact dimensions, it is not necessary to make too many concessions in terms of speed and capacity. You can buy this SSD with up to 2TB of built-in storage and it also offers PCIe 3.0-like read and write speeds for fast data transfer.
5. Oukitel WP63
The Oukitel WP63 is no ordinary smartphone and will surely appeal to those who want to break away from the standard formulas of Apple, Google and Samsung. For starters, it comes with a massive 20,000 mAh battery, which partly explains its beefy appearance.
You also get a built-in LED light for finding your way in the dark and even an electric lighter. How many phones do you know that can cause a fire? If you’re a serious camper or outdoor enthusiast, this could be a phone worth checking out.
6. Huawei Watch GT Runner 2
Without making too much of a fuss, Huawei is actually launching some pretty impressive smartwatches, and the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is the latest to catch our attention here at MWC. In fact, we’ve already had some hands-on time with the wearable device.
It’s lightweight, capable, and reasonably priced, though of course you won’t be able to buy it directly in the US, what with the Huawei ban and all. It has a high waterproof score, features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, and supports contactless payments.
7.6G
Don’t worry if you’re still struggling to get reliable access to 5G in your part of the world, because 6G is on the way and will offer even greater leaps in terms of upload and download speeds, and in terms of the capacity that networks have.
Numerous mobile companies have been talking about 6G in Barcelona, including Ericsson and Intel – the tech giants say they are pooling their resources in a partnership that should allow next-generation connectivity to arrive sooner and with a higher level of reliability.
