ISLAMABAD:
The National Assembly approved three bills on Friday.
The bills were introduced by Federal Minister of Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, including PEMRA Amendment Bill, 2025, Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2025]and Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Bill, 2025].
According to the statement of objects and reasons, the Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation (APPC) operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and functions as a state news agency under the APP Ordinance 2002.
