Na condemns the ‘inappropriate’ behavior of Imran Khan towards the journalist

The National Assembly unanimously approved a resolution condemning the “inappropriate behavior” of the founder of PTI Imran Khan towards the senior journalist Aijaz Ahmed during a meeting in the Adiala prison.

The resolution, moved by Khawaja Izharul Hassan, said that the founder of PTI used an offensive language against journalistic norms. He requested strict legal actions and urged the Ministry of Interior to guarantee the security of Aijaz Ahmed.

The resolution also said that press clubs, journalists and related forums should not face intimidation or obstruction. He demanded an immediate action against those who carry out malicious social media campaigns aimed at journalists and urged the perpetrators to be punished under the law.

Toshakhana 2.0 Case audience

The Toshakhana 2.0 case against the founder of PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi witnessed his longest audience in Adiala prison, lasting almost seven and a half hours.

During the session, the prosecutor’s witness, the NAB investigation officer, Mohsin Haroon, registered his statement. However, the interrogation could not be completed by the lawyer of the founder of the PTI, QUSAIN FAISAL MUFTI.

The procedures were carried out within the Special Court established in the Adiala prison under the supervision of the special central judge, Shah Rukh Arjemand. Both the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi were produced before the court.

The last two witnesses in the Toshakhana 2.0 trial – Nab Mohsin Haroon’s investigation officer and FIA Malik Shah Parvez investigation – appeared in the Court. Qusain Faisal Mufti lawyer, assisted by lawyer Salman Safdar, cornered Mohsin Haroon for seven and a half hours. The prosecutor’s team, led by Umair Majaed, was also present.

The audience was postponed due to an energy cut in jail and will resume on October 1.

Imran raises concerns about Peshawar Rally arrangements

The secretary general of PTI, Salman Akram Raja, has said that the founder of PTI has issued important directives that will be shared at the next meeting of the Parliamentary Party.

Speaking to the media outside the Adiala prison, he revealed that the founder of PTI expressed reservations regarding the agreements for the recent Peshawar rally.

Raja said that the founder questioned whether party officials intended to take people forward or leave them, referring to an incident in which some workers showed shoes during the event.

He added that the founder of PTI had received reports on the place of rally and was not happy with the arrangements, stating that the site was poorly handled with dust that rose by the land.

Raja clarified, however, that this did not mean that the founder was not satisfied with the demonstration, but that the organizational deficiencies had raised concerns.

In internal matters of the party, he emphasized that Aleema Khan does not directly interfere with PTI’s affairs and only transmits the founder’s message to the public. He stressed that the clear directive of the founder is that party leaders and offices must assume the responsibility of administering the party.
