National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq announced on Friday that the digitalization process has been started to establish an e-Parliament.
Speaking at the start of the NA session, the speaker said digitization work had almost been completed in the Secretariat, while the system would soon be extended to Parliament Lodges to facilitate members’ participation.
He said that under the new system, members would receive the Agenda, a copy of the Constitution, the Rules of Business and other legislative documents digitally instead of on paper.
