ISLAMABAD:
Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi has been appointed as the chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), a notification from the Ministry of Law and Justice said on Saturday.
Previously, Naeemi was serving as interim president of the CII since May 2024.
He has now been appointed member and president of the Council.
“The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is also pleased to appoint Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi as Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology,” the notification said.
