LAHORE:
The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, asked the president of PML-N Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the Prime Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest in addition to the law and the order of Punjab were discussed.
A consensus was made on making comprehensive efforts to improve law and order. It was reaffirmed that terrorists would be treated with an iron hand and collective efforts.
The meeting occurred when Punjab police successfully repelled terrorists while attacked a control point in Di Khan. The area has been facing an increase in terrorist activities.
