ISLAMABAD:
Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi held separate meetings with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott and US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad on Sunday.
During the meeting with Jane Marriott, Naqvi noted that the resumption of direct flight operations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom would further strengthen trade and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker praised Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to counter terrorism and extremism, calling them “highly commendable.”
He reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to continuing cooperation with Pakistan.
