Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that a comprehensive security plan has been established so that Muharram verifies criminals and guarantees a better surveillance.
He said this while visiting the Central Imambargah Asna Ashari in G-6, Islamabad, on Monday, where he reviewed security and other arrangements. He argued that security has been put on maximum alert to frustrate any dire design of cowardly enemies.
Naqvi said that approval for the deployment of the army in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltist and all provinces on request has also been granted. He added that the Army will remain available to support the Civil Administration in these regions.
In addition, he met with the administrators of the Imambargah Central and asked about the agreements, to which the organizers expressed satisfaction. Dig Islamabad police also informed him.
