Naqvi was briefed about the operation and evacuation and praised the staff for their professionalism. He declared all personnel involved “national heroes” and called their actions “an exemplary demonstration of courage and experience.”

Regarding the attack, the minister stated that “these are not just terrorists, they are beasts with no connection to humanity.” “No religion allows attacking children, and these animals do not follow any religion,” he added.
Recalling the 2014 Army Public School tragedy, Naqvi said the attackers at the cadet college intended to carry out a similar atrocity, but quick and decisive action by the security forces “sent the terrorists to hell and defeated their conspiracy.”
