Nascar’s star Austin Dillon spoke about Richard Childress Racing’s decision to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk after the conservative influence was killed at the beginning of the week.
Dillon and the rest of the vehicles of his teammates presented a decal in their cars with the words “in memory of Charlie Kirk 1993-2025”.

“In the first place, it is a tragic incident in which a man was taken and leaves two children and a wife,” Dillon said, through CBS Sports. “I affirm his heroism when it comes to defending God. And I love some of his teachings of the Bible, his ability to debate without really attacking someone.
“I thought it is just a very sad day and all I know is that I want to enter the Bible more and learn more about Jesus and try to spread the word whenever I can.”

Richard Childress Racing pilots were among those in the world of sport to honor Kirk after his death.
Christopher Bell dedicated his victory in Bass Pro Shops’ night race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.
“The most important thing, this week has obviously been a very difficult week. You know, there is a lot in our minds,” said Bell. “This is for Charlie.”
Kirk was killed during an event at the University of Utah Valley. Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter, was arrested after a human hunt.
