Nascar News: Sheldon Creed, Brennan Poole involved in a serious accident


Nascar Xfinity drivers were involved in a serious accident on Saturday during Sciaps 300 in Bristol Motor Speedway.

Dean Thompson got into Creed’s back when they reached return 4. Creed turned the track and backed up on the wall. Unfortunately, he was perpendicular to the other drivers who tried to avoid it. Brennan Poole could not get out of the way when Creed stopped.

Poole buzzed through Creed, creating a great collision. Creed’s left front side was completely without hitting, while the entire right side of Poole on his vehicle started, as well as his right rear tire.

“He left me breathless,” Poole told NBC Sports after he was released from the center’s attention center. “I was talking to Sheldon when we got into the trailer and he said he also left him breathless.”

Creed said Poole didn’t see him.

“Things happen very fast and you leave very fast. There is not much time to prevent a car from feeling in the middle of the track like me,” he added.

Poole finished in 36ยบ and Creed was 37.

Kyle Larson ended first with Carson Kvapil, Justin Allgaier, Sammy Smith and Brandon Jones completed the first five.

Allgaier was the first in the Xfinity series after the race. Sam Mayer, Jesse Love, Austin Hill and Connor Zilisch were behind him.
