LAHORE: According to the reports, the renowned singer Nasebo Lal has undergone domestic violence by her husband in the city of Shahdara, Lahore.
In the first information report (FIR) housed at the Police Station of the city of Shahdara, the singer said that her husband had supposedly abused, assaulted and committed an “act of violence.”
Around 5 pm on March 14, she said, her husband, Naveed Hussain, arrived home, located in Ali Park, Garhi Mohalla, and immediately “began to abuse me.”
Nasebo said that her husband picked up a brick that lay nearby and hit her in the face, causing serious injuries on the left side of her face and nose.
“Often fight me, but today he assaulted me hitting me with a brick and abusing me, committing a serious act of violence. Legal measures against him must be taken,” he demanded.
The report has registered under section 345 (assault or criminal force to a woman with the intention of indignanting her modesty) of the Pakistan Criminal Code (PPC).
