LAHORE:
The president of PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday for reducing electricity rates, which the latter called an “important help package” for consumers.
In a statement, Nawaz praised prime minister and his team for ensuring reductions in power tariffs for national and industrial consumers. He said that the country was moving in the right direction, adding that the lowest electricity costs would not only relieve financial loads in the public, but also increase exports.
The Supreme PML-N said that his party had always provided an economic relief, pointing out the continuous decline of inflation as proof of the solid economic policies of the government.
