Nawaz promises to block the ‘artificial’ political crisis

While the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) prepares for another anti-government movement, the president of the Pakistan Muslim league (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, promised on Wednesday to cut any attempt to create what he called to An “artificial political crisis.”

The former prime minister said that people would no longer allow anyone to launch a key in the works of national progress. He stressed that Pakistan’s progress will not be derailed by “groups that are not familiar with the principles of politics and democracy.”

Speaking at his residence in Raiwind during a meeting with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, Nawaz Sharif said that the Pakistani people will no longer tolerate interruptions on the road to the development of the country.

In addition, he said that if the progress initiated in 2013 would have continued uninterrupted, Pakistan would not have required IMF or any external financial aid today.

“The country is once again standing by the grace of Allah, and young people need a Pacific and developing Pakistan where they can play their role according to their potential,” he said.

Nawaz urged PML-N legislators to actively expose elements that attempt to disseminate both inside and outside the Parliament. He added that these groups lacked the ability to participate in a serious political dialogue or resolve issues through mutual understanding.

He also emphasized the importance of PML-N parliamentarians maintaining strong connections with the public and playing an effective role in the legislative process.

After the negotiations between the Government and the opposition collapsed, PTI renewed the efforts to forge a great alliance against the Federal Government. The founding president of PTI, Imran Khan, ordered leaders to accelerate contact with other opposition parties for planned protests after EID.
