The Dallas Mavericks had a probability of 1.8% of winning the NBA draft lottery in the test on Monday; They challenged the probabilities and ended the day with the general selection number 1.
The award for any team was going to be the former Duke Blue Devils Cooper Flagg star. He is considered one of the best young basketball players since before he even entered the university ranks.

For the Mavericks, Luck was on his side. Dallas made the shocking movement to exchange Luka Doncic to Los Angeles Lakers in February for Anthony Davis. The team still made the game tournament and competed to be one of the eight teams to challenge the NBA title.
The NBA world was stunned that the Mavericks could obtain the best selection. Basketball fans talked about “conspiracy”, while LeBron James and Kevin Love added their own reactions to fray.
The CEO of Mavericks, Rick Welts, was in charge of the draft lottery when the New York Knicks received the number 1 team in 1985, in which the theories suggested that it was “manipulated.” He said he spent four years discrediting those theories and that he probably also needs to discredit the 2025 lottery.

“I am the only person who was in this room and in the room 40 years ago,” Welts said, through Washington Post. “I was in charge of the NBA draft lottery 40 years ago when Patrick Ewing won. I have been making stories of conspiracy theory since then. This is very surreal, personally.”
However, Welts was excited about the opportunity to select flagg.
The San Antonio Spurs received Selection No. 2, the Philadelphia 76ers will choose third and the Charlotte Hornets will have the fourth selection.

After Flagg, it was considered that the two main perspectives were first -year students from the Rutgers Scarlet Knights: the As Bailey and Dylan Harper.
