Howard Stern has made it clear: if he is not sitting in the first row in Madison Square Garden looking at the New York Knicks, then it does not go at all.
It is not known that Stern, 71, is the biggest sports fan, but supports the Knicks, who have an advantage of the 3-2 series over the Boston Celtics defender champion in the semifinals of the East Conference.
However, despite the success of the team’s playoffs, Stern will not be part of the strident multitude of Madison Square’s garden unless he has first row seats.

“You can tell your place in the entertainment world where they are placed in the Knicks game. The day they put me in the second row, I renounced. Because I consider myself a first row person,” Stern said in “The Howard Stern Show.”
“I am very aware of where they feel, and it is very important for me. If they said: ‘Look, you will not be in the first row,’ I would turn around and I would leave. It would be shameful for me.”
Stern has an interest in going to a next playoff game of the Knicks, but will only attend if their requirements are met.

“I have a tremendous interest, but I wouldn’t leave. I’m very self -conscious. I hope they invite me,” Stern said.
“I don’t want to take advantage of and I know everyone leaves the carpentry for the finals. I don’t want to be that guy. I prefer when the knicks are final, so I don’t feel guilty taking the tickets because nobody wants to go.”
While he would like to go to a game, if he is invited, the host of a lifetime does not have much faith in the Knicks that eliminate the Celtics and move on.

“I still feel that the Knicks are going to blow it. I get agitated with that team,” said Stern.
The Celtics won game 5 at the Garden TD in Boston 127-105 despite not having the star player Jayson Tatum due to an Achilles injury he suffered at the end of game 4.
The Knicks have another opportunity to ensure the series on Friday at 8 pm et, when the series returns to Madison Square Garden. The team has not reached the finals of the conference since 2000.
