The incident occurred in the fourth quarter, when Anunoby was preparing to mount a fast break while surrounded by three Magic defenders. The ball was snatched from his hands as he went to prepare for the layup and he was humiliated.

Bane, who was following the play, picked up the loose ball and with a quick movement threw it towards Anunoby, who was still on the ground. The Knicks forward became upset about being drilled with the ball, got up and pushed Bane.

After the Knicks’ victory, Bane and Anunoby appeared to argue on the court and hugged each other.

It is the second incident this season in which Bane throws a ball at an opponent. At the beginning of November, the striker had another incident during a counterattack.

Bane was alone as he tried to defend a fast break by Onyeka Okongwu with the Atlanta Hawks leading 79-65 in the third quarter.

Okongwu tried to make a layup, but Bane refused to give up the easy ball, so he fouled him and knocked him to the ground. As Okongwu fell to the ground, the ball floated in the air and Bane hit it against Okongwu’s head like a volleyball player executing a spike.

After a replay review, Bane was ejected from the game after receiving a technical foul and a flagrant foul for his transgression.

The Magic’s next game is against the Miami Heat at 6 pm ET on Tuesday.
