The New York Knicks surprised the Boston Celtics to open their NBAs of the NBA second round in an exciting way Monday night.
The Knicks erased a 20-point deficit to force extra time and beat the Celtics, 108-105, in a game where Boston lost 45 three-point shots.
Jalen Brunson was almost the hero in the bell as well as game 6 against the Detroit Pistons in the first round, since Karl-Anthony Towns found him with a sweet pass to the basket with only remaining seconds on the fourth clock in the room.

Boston began to feel his life again after Jaylen Brown finally nailed a triple to reach three points, but the Celtics could not force more extra time when the bridges undressed Brown from an incoming pass in the bell. More than the Knicks, Towns had 13 rebounds to his 14 points for a double double, while Josh Hart came up with tremendous rebound skills as usual, ending with 11 and scoring 14 points. Outside the bank, Miles “Call” McBride had 11 points.
If this game says something about this series, it seems that it is drilling as another classic combat among these historical rivals.
