The New York Knicks defeated the Detroit Pistons in game 4 of their first-round playoff confrontation on Sunday afternoon, 94-93, since it was reduced to a controversial end.
The great man of the Knicks, Karl-Anthony Towns, nailed two clutch shots in the final moments to give New York the advantage of a point.

Cade Cunningham and the Pistons had possession with less than 10 seconds to play. Cunningham had a decent look at the foul line, but his shot was out of place. The ball bounced before Tim Hardaway Jr. got it in the corner. He mocks the bomb to jump to the Knicks guard Josh Hart. Hardaway bowed to Hart to try to draw a foul. No fault was called, since Hardaway lost his shot.
Detroit chief coach JB BickerStaff broke into the court and seemed to shout at officials: “That is a fault.” The officials did not force him and the Knicks took an advantage of the 3-1 series.
BickerStaff rang in the play at the end of the game.

“There is contact in the jump of Tim Hardaway. I don’t know any other way to avoid it, there is contact in his jumping shot,” said Bickerstaff, through ESPN. “(Hart) leaves his feet; he is at the mercy of Timmy. I repeat, there is contact in his jump in jump.”
NBA officials admitted having made a mistake after the game ended.
“During the game live, it was judged that Josh Hart did a defensive legal work,” said the chief of the crew, David Guthrie. “After the review after the game, we observe that Hart makes body contact that is more than marginal for Hardaway Jr. and should have called a fault.”
