- Netflix has announced a Assassin’s Creed The television series will arrive at the streamer
- He has been in process for almost five years, but we still don’t have much information.
- The plot describes the series as “a high octane thriller focused on the secret war between two gloomy factions”
Netflix has a green green Assassin’s Creed The adaptation of television, which gives me hope once again after the previous attempts to adapt the video game for the screen have failed.
In 2016, the film directed by Michael Fassbender was critically criticized and received a critical score from Rotten Tomatoes of 18%. But the news that the story is reaching one of the best transmission services has aroused my interest.
We have seen great success with the adaptations of video games recently, of course, as Prime Video Radioactive dust or HBO’s The last of usSo we can only expect that the second time is a charm when it comes to Assassin’s Creed.
What do we know about Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed?
At the time of writing, we don’t know much. Netflix has not launched an advance or cast list, but they have confirmed who leads the project.
Emmy Roberto Patino nominees (Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo) will serve as creators, showrunners and executive producers in the Assassin’s Creed series. Given his work in some great shows, this fills me with hope.
He Halo The adaptation of video game to screen obtained a healthy 80% in Rotten Tomatoes, so it is worthy of a place in our best Paramount+programs, so that is a positive start.
In terms of plot, everything we have so far is a Tudum statement that says: “Assassin’s Creed It is a high octane thriller focused on the secret war between two gloomy factions, an set in determining the future of humanity through control and manipulation, while the others fight to preserve free will. “
He adds: “The series follows its characters through fundamental historical events while fighting to shape the destiny of humanity.”
That is not much to leave, and video game fans already know the universe well, so it will be interesting to see how far it adheres or deviates from the source material.
Anyway, I am excited to try this and pray that one day it is added to our list of the best Netflix programs.
