- Netflix adds the download season to iPhone and iPad applications

During the dark days, those in which my homemade broadband network disconnected, we struggled to transmit Netflix content on our iPads and iPhones. If we had only had this recent update: the ability to download full seasons.

The ability to download a complete series about one of the best transmission services is not entirely new. Android users have had it for a while. Netflix in my new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra had this ability from the moment I installed the transmission service.
How to get it
The new download capacity was not there when I checked my iPhone 16 pro max. But I found a quick way to add it. I eliminated the application of my phone and reinstated it. Presto! Netflix Downloads Management Center moved to a new location in my netflix, and shows where downloads are now available includes a download season option next to the sharing icon.
In the case of several seasons shows, the label says “Download season 1” or any season in which you are. In the case of a limited series or one with a single season in its credit A man insideIt will say something like “download 8 episodes.”
About wifi, it took approximately a minute to download 8 episodes of A man inside. To verify twice the usefulness of this function, I put my phone in plane mode and I was pleased to see that I could play any of the episodes.
You could also enter the discharge management section and eliminate episodes individually or the whole season with a single click.
Being able to see Netflix streamers offline is a big problem. I know that in my house, when we had no connectivity and we were only seeing what we could transmit live at this time, which was not much and why we changed to DVD (the way of having instant access to whole seasons of your favorite programs) : We would have considered this characteristic as an excessive life.
There is no technical reason why I can see that Netflix prevents this from bringing this to the best iPhones and the best iPads at the same time as Android phones and I hope they do not have the habit of covering only one platform at the same time.
Giving us this content portability is the slightest that Netflix can do after increasing prices again at all service levels.
While I prepare to spend a small vacation, I plan to take advantage of this function and download some seasons of some selected programs to see on the beach or when I just want to relax in my hotel room.
