When I saw Netflix’s The electric state Trailer, I immediately returned to the iconic science fiction film District 9. Especially when you look at the granulated television part at the beginning, where humans simply ignore robots and push them in a sectioned area: ask questions about how we mistreat the things we do not understand. While the District 9 The aliens (or “prawns” as they were known in a little affected way) are different from the robots in The electric stateThe concept is terribly familiar. With that in mind, I am really interested in seeing how Netflix adapts this story.
The trailer is full of action and heart, especially because a robot with an ominous smile (it is not his fault, the poor) seems to want to help a human. Once again, there are parallels with how an alien and his son unexpectedly help Bureaucrat Wikus Van de Merwe in District 9. Taking into account that it is one of my favorite movies of all time (can you say it?), I hope The electric state It is worth the hype, given how intrigued I am on the subject. If we are lucky, we will add it to our best summary of Netflix movies.
