Netflix used visual effects generated by AI for the first time on a television or film program this year, and Co-Ced Ted Saraonds is quite satisfied with the result.
In statements to investors on Thursday (July 18), Saramonds revealed the Argentine science fiction program, The eternalIt is the first netflix production that AI uses to generate a VFX sequence (visual effects).
He said: “The creators were delighted with the result. He moved us with the result,” he said. “And most importantly, the audience was delighted with the result. So, I think these tools are helping creators expand the possibilities of telling stories on the screen, and that is infinitely exciting.”
