- Another leak of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has appeared
- Shows the back of the vlogging camera in action.
- An official release shouldn’t be too far away now
We expect to see quite a few new DJI products in the coming weeks, including the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 vlogging camera, and now a new image leak shows the device in action in the wild, ahead of an official reveal.
This leak is from The New Camera (via Notebookcheck) and appears to show the upcoming camera alongside the current model. Possibly some type of performance test or promotional session for the product.
So what does the image tell us about the successor to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3? There’s not much we don’t already know from previous leaks, including that the new model will have a slimmer, more refined design.
While the yet-unannounced camera appears taller than the model it replaces in this shot, the angle at which the photo is taken and the shooting equipment being used likely mean there isn’t much difference in terms of height.
Updates on the way
We’ve already seen leaked images of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, which point to two major updates in particular: a second camera sensor to improve photo and video capture, and an additional display mounted on the front of the camera.
Those improvements to the current model, plus the heritage DJI has built up, mean it’s likely to be an instant contender for our list of the best cameras for vlogging, and we’re now hoping for a release sooner rather than later.
The leaked image we have here isn’t particularly high quality, so we can’t see too much detail in-camera, but if we see it tested in the real world in this way, then an official reveal can’t be too far away.
What’s more, it seems likely that we’ll also see the DJI Osmo Action 6 in the coming weeks, in addition to a global launch of the DJI Neo 2. However, with a ban imminent for DJI in the US, it’s unclear if these devices will launch in the US.
