NFL Network presenter Kyle Brandt said he was “devastated” by the news that one of his colleagues was injured when an armed man assaulted a high -rise building in New York City, where the NFL The headquarters is located, on Monday night, killing four people and hurting several more.
Brandt delivered a powerful support message for The victims and their families during the show on Tuesday.

“Heartbreaking news. Last night I began to receive text messages from people across the country wondering if I was fine, I didn’t understand where I work. I don’t work in that building,” said a solemn Brandt. “I work significantly in the center. But I am devastated by all those who work in that building.

“I also just want to say that it is a particularly heartbreaking news because in this company and in that building, this is a moment of great emotion and joy and this week represents hope and rebirth and some of that was taken yesterday. It is a horrible news. Terribly sad to listen to it. And we in ‘Good Morning Football’ We deeply share our support for the loved ones of the victims.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell praised New York Didarul Islam police officer, One of the victims identified, in a memorandum to employees who were in the building at the time of shooting.
“We are deeply grateful to the law agents who responded to this threat quickly and decisively and the Islam officer, who gave his life to protect others,” said the memorandum, obtained by Pak Gazette Digital.

Goodell also confirmed in the memo that an NFL employee was “seriously injured” but in stable conditions.
The mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, said Tuesday that the armed man, identified as Shane Tamura, was trying to aim at the NFL headquarters, but took the wrong elevator bank. Adams added that the gunman alluded to having suffered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and that he had a complaint against the NFL.
“It seemed to have blamed the NFL,” said the mayor in Fox 5 Ny. “The NFL headquarters was located in the building, and by mistake uploaded by the wrong elevator bank.”
