The New York Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, reacted on Sunday to the heartbreaking revelation Brett Gardner and his wife, Jessica, about his youngest son, Miller.
Miller Gardner died after falling ill while he was on vacation with his family, the Gardner family said in a statement issued through the Yankees. Details about where the details about the Gardner family were not clear and Miller died.

“We talk about being a family all the time and, although Brett has left for a few years, that does not stop,” Boone told journalists, through the New York Post. “Many people there [the clubhouse] That knows that family intimately. It is a very difficult day and a very difficult news. “
Boone said that all that the team could do now is to offer support to Gardner and his family during the difficult time.
“The best we can, we will pray for the Gardner family and where we can, offering support,” Boone added. “That is something unimaginable that unfortunately is where we are with him. Very sad. Very hard.”

The tragic revelation was held early. Gardner played for the Yankees from 2008 to 2021, including years under Boone.
“With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the death of our youngest son, Miller. He was 14 years old and has left us too soon after getting sick along with several other family members while he was on vacation,” said his statement. “We have many questions and so few answers at this time, but we know that he died peacefully as he slept on Friday, March 21.
“Miller was a beloved son and brother and we still can’t understand our life without his infectious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends. Life lived to the fullest every day.”
