Field Marshal of the New York Jets, Justin Fields, seems to have avoided a preseason disaster.
Fields, 26, dislocated a finger on the right foot, is day by day and avoided “serious injuries and a significant lost time,” the NFL team announced on Thursday.
Fields was taken off the field during the team training camp earlier in the day.

The Jets chief coach Aaron Glenn said he is “assuming” that someone stepped on the foot of the fields, but said he wants to look at the tape and make sure that is the cause. Glenn added that Tyrod Taylor is ready to take charge if necessary.
Fields signed a two -year contract, according to reports, with a value of $ 40 million in the low season to replace Aaron Rodgers.
Fields appeared in 10 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season and began six of them. The team had 4-2 in its beginnings, and completed 65.8% of its passes for 1,106 yards with five touchdowns and an interception.

Fields was also effective in the race game, carrying the ball 62 times for 189 yards and five touchdowns last season.
While Fields did not play badly, the Steelers did it in the bank after six games in favor of Russell Wilson.
The Jets brought fields to be their starting field marshal after they released Rodgers, who had two disappointing seasons with the team.

Outside the fields, the jets have three other quartbacks on their list: Taylor, Adrian Martínez and Brady Cook. If the fields were lost a significant time, Taylor is suitable to replace it as the titular field marshal.
Taylor, 35, has played in the 14 seasons of the NFL, began 58 games and has a record of 28-28-1. Taylor appeared in two games last season with the jets and completed 17–22 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns.
In 2023, Taylor began five games for New York giants and had a 2-3 record while completing 64.4% of its passes for 1,341 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions.
