According to the reports, the Kansas City Chiefs would face the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo in the first week of the season.

Travis Kelce essentially confirmed that the Chiefs would be the opponent of the chargers during an episode of his podcast, and already said he is not waiting for him.

As he explained, the heat bothers him.

“Yes, we are definitely playing in Brazil,” Kelce said with a smile in the “New Heights” podcast. “I also listened to those rumors … I will be there, playing football, in heat.”

Jason Kelce said he wanted to go and support the Philadelphia Eagles when they played against the Green Bay Packers last season. He said the field was “atrocious.”

“The old field,” Travis Kelce said mockingly in an apparent reference to the loss of the Eagles Super Bowl against the Chiefs, which resulted in complaints about the field in Arizona. “‘The boys are sliding throughout the place.’ What if we play with our shoulders on our fingers?

Kelce said he was not exactly excited about the game in Brazil.

“There is something to approach Ecuador. I don’t want to put a soccer uniform doing that. I’ve been to Jacksonville in September and that is very miserable,” he said.

When he was told that São Paulo is more inland, Kelce said he would prefer to be “dry than wet.”

“I will say this, if it is wet, I will be miserable,” he added. “… if it’s hot and wet, and it’s kind of what I hope, I’m going to be miserable, but we’re going to find a way to get a victory.”

Kansas City finished 15-2 last season and arrived at the Super Bowl for the third consecutive year. The Eagles, however, defeated them deeply.
